I just installed the history add-on, what should I do first?

. First, go to options, and review the defaulted milestone markers to see if they are appropriately set for your forum. If not, change as required. Next, if you are planning on using the anniversary milestone, set the live date in the options. Click save.

Secondly, go to AdminCP->History->Milestone types, and add each type you want tracked. When added, each milestone will display the next marker that will be used. You may edit this to a lower value to get started, if you choose.

You may now go to AdminCP->Tools->Cron entries, and run the [EAE] Update milestone markers, to start populating your history, if applicable, or just wait until the cron runs automatically.

Thirdly, set the permissions. The site owner, and/or trusted admins should have all permissions for the add-on set to Yes. Either set them by user, or by group. If you choose to set them by user, set the administrative group permissions to No.

I see some milestones were added, and I added an event, but the counts in the sidebar are off, why is that?

. The counts are updated by cron that runs every ten minutes.
