Does anyone know how to get this function when someone is creating a resource? So when they enter a resource item, they get a block with similar resources. This way the resource creator can see if the resource already exists

This will only be shown if you view resources, then it will show you similar ones, it will not display a block of similar resources during the creation.

It would be much better if the addon would show them during the creation.

Yes it would. Similar threads by Andy B has this function. Is there anyone who can adjust the code of similar threads to work with similar resources?

it would be necessary to reproduce the complete code because the threads and the resources are not managed in the same way

@alodda Maybe possible via a small widget, which will be shown above the resource creation. It should not be difficult, but could take some time

@alodda but similar resources and similar threads work the same way. So you might be able to just addapt the similar resources to pop up when creating a thread. I am very bad in code but if someone could try this, it would be awesome!
