Hi Dear Fellow Webmasters,

I have seen and noticed there is a serious bug or a code which is missing in respect of SEO for any website which is using Xenforo. There is a serious issue occurs regarding META description which is written for best SEO and keywords in description of site main page which leads and shows in Google and other search engines.

When you set your board to Inactive Mode. Your main Meta description paragraph and even other meta values goes washed out if you view your page source while inactive mode of board. Which leads to such a huge effect and loss in SEO for any good community which is taking its all traffic from search engines. Might be some from you thinks we only disable the board for a few minutes or for a while. But think if there is a situation where you are trying to test something good for your users or something like backup or restoration running in term of fixing some issues which can take longer than normal routine - thus such time can ruin your all SEO in search engines if your board inactive mode goes longer in days....

Here I can try to explain you with a little example;
Scenario 1 when your board is active: you can see below META description in page source view mode.
PHP:
<meta name="description" content="Thanks for Giving us a Great Community to have and to gather all great people together." />
Scenario 2 when your board is inactive: you can see below META description in page source view mode.
PHP:
There will be no description or any other Meta Tags will be showing which can save your main page SEO to show like description

There should be a Addon or solution which can be helpful in this to overcome the issue and gives solution and benefits to all in long-term. When we have a solution or any addon we can test our inactive mode also in google snippet preview which can show us even board is inactive still showing same description which is mentioned in board settings.
