Forum was hacked, they added ad codes.

Hello,

My forum was hacked a few nights ago, everything has gotten somewhat back to normal. However they had added some ad codes to our site we just cannot find! They inserted very agressive pop unders and push notification ads. I checked the advertising section and just our regular banners are there. What template would have edited to insert these ads codes?

look around on your server where your community is at and see if there is anything that dont look right i would start there first

Compare your htdocs with a backup (if you have) and check for files that should not be there.

how do you know it has been hacked?
Any logs found?

You should probably try and disable plugins one by one and see if the ads disappear.

maybe you downloaded addon from untrusted forum..
