Hello all,
my forum is now on a new VPS.
The database is imported without errors and runs great.

What does not work: when I click on a forum, the message appears:
"Not found.
The requested URL was not found on this server."

Unfortunately, a forum login is also not possible. The message appears:
"Oops! We've encountered a problem."

I thought my backup was broken. To test it, I downloaded xampp and restored my backup. The forum works here without the redirect error.

What could be the reason for this?

Hello, It appears that mod_rewrite is not enable in your VPS. As you might have friendly urls enabled, which requires mod_rewrite to remove index.php from the pages. So make sure you enable mod_rewrite for apache, so that friendly urls can work properly.

In case you have ubuntu with apache you can try the below commands. As for NGNIX the setup is a bit different, so you will have to explore that a bit.

sudo a2enmod rewrite
sudo service apache2 restart
