Unless i'm misunderstanding, this is native in XF 2.1? not as easy but if you go to the section and click one of the thread modification boxes
Then click select all at the bottom
then select the option you need. and it will update all the threads. I dont believe i've seen an addon like you linked for 2.1 yet
