Transfer Xenforo to diferent Host

Hello my ppl
Im trying transfer my forum to diferent host!!! I upload XF to new host, install new XF, then, copied old data folder and internall_data to new host! Then install an importer addon but no success

At beginning ask for BD settings (its settings from old DB or new?)
then says that i just can import from XF 2.0 not 2.1, even on importer says that i can import 2.1
Then ask path internal from data folder and external! What i have to do?

No no.. Im try migrate my old XF 2.1 to new webhost!!!

I didnd see any manual to do it

you made backup of xenforo database and public_html folder

if in your previous hosting you were using cpanel you can download the backup copy that comes with a copy of the database and the public_html files of that you upload the files in the public_html folder of vestacp and then from expert the database of your forum

how big is your database and xenforo files

Well, i just copy public_html from my old forum to the new vps... now next step? Upload DB via phpmyadmin to vestacp?

What I would do, is export > import the DB in the new Host, and replicate the same path root to your new host. Basically upload all the file as they are from a backup.
And when done, runnin an \install ( rebuild option, NO fresh installation), just in case...
And also check that permissions in folders are the same as before. Overall for DATA and INTERNAL_DATA

But.... and the old DB? With copy past if i made a rebuild its all tranfered to the new DB @zeus1971

What do you mean with "copy paste " ???
DB has to be imported , and backup files uploaded to your new location/host

@the_shadow mhh... I always use CPANEL, and in PhpMyAdmin it's very easy to import.
