what is the benefit of this? if the photos are stored on their site and they are slow to deliver the photo it will slow down your site? is there any benefit over jsut compressing them locally with image optimizer?

I am using [tl] Image Optimizer, it's quite ok

ya i cant use pngquant though cause my host wont install it im on shared hosting so i use convert image all and image optimizer together

@thomsa config is pretty simple install it then log into your host via ssn and run install script...... but if your using shared hosting you may not have the ability to log in via ssh
