As long as you don't screw up the MYSQL database structure, the database is fine for upgrading to VB4 & 5 or migrating to XenForo.

vBulletin 3.8 is too old in its design and deserves a completely-written HTML5 style template set, still.

I am getting the following error under PHP 7.2.31

PHP Deprecated: Function create_function() is deprecated in class_dm.php on line 472

On line 472, I see :

$lamdafunction = create_function('&$data, &$dm', $field[VF_CODE]);
return $lamdafunction($value, $this);

Any idea ?

You would have to downgrade your PHP to 7 or below to get this version here working good,
it works best with 5.6 even though it claims 7.2, thats not the case.
