yesterday the author closed the community and deleted all non premium users

1] The price of the addon no and 50 dollars, the price and 200 dollars, 50 dollars are only addon updates for 6 months
2] was a 4 months awaiting the launch to be able to buy, but yesterday the author closed the community and excluded all non-premium users, I believe it is because of this posting

Be aware and learn to value this type of developer, and difficult to develop a complement for months, even years, then comes leechers and plays on the internet for anyone to download, it costs nothing to wait about 3 months after the launch to do this, leave the author wins at least one exchanged for his service.

Say to the dev to get a real job instead trying to make money with XenForo add-ons.
Let users have a test version before buying something to see if the add-on is good or not.
In all domains, there is thieves...
Trying to face about thieves and hacker it's only delaying the inevitable.

It's not developer's mistake or any problem if he is protecting himself from thieves. His job is to protect his useful resources from hackers.. On thinking from developer's point of view, why should he provide test version? None of the XF addon developer provides Test version for their addon as screenshots are enough to show features of an addon.. And if you think "In all domains, there are thieves" then you must be knowing that in all domains, protecting ourselves from thieves are some basic activities which everyone follows to avoid loosing money. Maybe people like you don't feel bad loosing money!

Don't cry @impound if you loose that addon.. At times, there are contracts between developers with big websites not to sell their work (you must be knowing how contracts are signed between two persons for understanding this situation).. Move on man! Try something new.. Don't copy.. Otherwise spending 200USD or even more may not help you to grow
