It would be very interesting to increase the range of profile customizations with avatar borders.
Avatar borders would have many uses. Some of them could be placed freely, such as the option to change avatars, but if the admin wants, the borders can be restricted to some conditions, such as being placed manually by the Adm, or even be part of a group, just like group banners.
Avatar borders could be added either by .CSS like banners, or by .PNG (static or animated) or even animated .GIF...
