How about I have a problem, they reported a link with copyright material to me,
for example my link is example.com/threads/link1
Is it possible to keep the publication but that link does not work? If not change the name?

Or do you want to hide the link?

It does not make sense to change the name, because of the ID which remain the same as before.. If it is a thread you can try to select all posts and create a duplicate of it, or move to new thread. If it is a resource it will be more complicated.
