I was able to join Twitter again recently. I don't want to use it except to add it as a connected account to https://sgiforum.com/ but for some reason, I'm having trouble with this. Can anyone point out the problem?
This is just wrong: https://xenforo.com/docs/xf2/connected-accounts/
So I went to Twitter and to the Developer Portal. There I entered:
App permissions = Read
Callback URI = https://sgiforum.com/connected_account.php
Website URL = https://sgiforum.com/
Then in Xenforo I have to enter Consumer Key and Consumer Secret but in the Twitter developer portal it gives me: API Key and API Secret along with Client Key and Client Secret.
I think I should enter API Key and Secret because when I test it, it takes me to Twitter then the redirect on Xenforo tells me: "Test failed while connecting with Twitter. Unable to retrieve provider key. "
If I enter Client Key and Client Secret it just tells me the same thing but without directing to Twitter log in.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft log in works fine.
