ShieldXMaybe I missunderstood your question, but if you subscribe to a section for example, you can also enable mail notification, so if anyone post in there you will receive an email.

Email can be also set in your profile

ShieldXbut this setting is for just for the summary emails.
It is the last_summary_email_date column in the user table.

There is no default option available for all users. But the Receive NEW and UPDATE emails might be the one, try that, this one can also be set for new registered users

2 you can use this for the admin New thread email staff 1.3 witch you can download both from here
